While many long-time residents still think of it as Whispering Palms, the name given it when it was first developed in 1967, Morgan Run made it's re-debut in the late 1990's when it was renamed, remodeled, and dubbed private by it's Dallas-based owners. The 27-hole championship course follows the picturesque San Dieguito River. Although flat and easy to walk, the narrow fairways skirted by both the river and long rough make it plenty challenging. Morgan Run offers extensive practice facilities including a full driving range, chipping greens, sand bunkers, two putting greens, and is home to an 11-court tennis complex as well.
