Bonita Golf Club is a conveniently-located municipal course near area businesses and major freeways, making it easy to get in a round anytime. The course is fairly flat and easy to walk, but watch out for the trees! The Sweetwater River adds some scenery where it crosses the course, as well as a challenging water hazard to negotiate. The greens are firm with good consistency. Bonita offers a great city course at an affordable price, situated in a central valley with well-established traditional homes that offer a wide variety of affordable options.

- Golf: 6,287-yard, par 71, Driving range and practice greens. Full pro shop facilities and instruction available. Several of the holes play tight on the left, but you're in good shape to the right. Two of the three par-5's have nice wide fairways so you should be able to avoid the bunkers. The tougher Par-5, hole 13, requires careful precision around the two water hazards, and there is usually a steady breeze to contend with here.

- Clubhouse: This is a no frills club, but the snack bar provides quick refreshment during a round. There is an outdoor patio for relaxing.
