Bernardo Heights CC gets its name from the fact that the neighborhood is perched along a scenic ridge, high above the valleys below. Business in the area is thriving; many new companies have added to the local corporate culture, complementing the residential developments. The course provides plenty of challenge from the hilly terrain and many trees, plus there's some water and greens are tough, fast. Homes in the area skirt the fairways, but not overly intrusive here, perhaps due to the vast and scenic views the course's elevation commands.
